Foods to eat to get pregnant are among the most important factors to consider when you are eager to get pregnant fast. We are actually made up of the foods we eat. To get the best out of our reproductive system, there are foods to eat to get pregnant fast.

For male sperm motility issues load up on tomatoes, grab some guava, watermelon and pink grapefruit. Love the Lycopene is an antioxidant that helps male sperm motility.

 

Foods rich in Vitamin D

Women with sufficient vitamin D levels have higher rates of pregnancy compared with those whose vitamin D levels were lagging. UV exposed mushrooms are a good example of foods rich in vitamin D. You can substitute your meat with mushrooms.

 

Antioxidants

Antioxidant diets are examples of foods to eat to get pregnant fast. Antioxidants enhance sperm quality and general pregnancy rates. Specifically, the combination of Vitamin C, Vitamin E and CoQ10 are the ideal antioxidants to rev up your fertility chances.

Eat nuts and avocado for vitamin E, lean beef and mackerel for CoQ10, and berries for Vitamin C. Berries protect eggs from damage and ageing. Strawberry also increases a woman’s libido.

 

Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are rich in iron. Women who regularly consume iron are 40 per cent less likely to be infertile than those who did not consume enough iron. You can roast pumpkin seeds and add salt and pepper to make it taste better.

Taking adequate amounts of folic acid and iron lowers your risk of infertility. Dark, leafy greens like spinach and kale offer loads of folic acid and iron.

 

Shellfish

Shellfish is a great example of foods to eat to et pregnant fast. Loaded with vitamin B12, it strengthens the endometrium lining (necessary for getting pregnant). In men, it increases sperm count.

 

On the flip-side, taking more than 4 units of alcohol per week has negative effects on fertility. Same goes with taking more than three cups of coffee/caffeinated drinks per day and smoking.
